The 4 Pillars Group: A Small Business Holding Co.

“We care about what’s next”

At The 4 Pillars Group, we are grounded in the core values of Integrity First, Strategic Thinking, People Centricity, and Operational Excellence. These four pillars drive our daily behavior and decision-making. We firmly believe that by upholding these values, we are optimizing for all stakeholders in both the short and long term.

We want to bridge the gap between the legacy that created great companies and the future of growth and continued success for all parties that could be impacted.

    • Businesses in the Southeast US and Texas

    • SDE above $500k (Revenues over ~$1.25m)

    • Recession resistant businesses in growing industries

    • Businesses over 10 years old

  • We understand that all businesses are set up different, meaning all exits will look a bit different. We pride ourselves on flexibility. When transacting with us you can expect:

    • Alignment of goals and incentives

    • Communication along the way. We like to over communicate early so there are no surprises late

    • Partnership - We want to work together to get to a fair price point, transitional role and timeline, and future outlook for employees

    • Besides the criteria above, we put a great emphasis on the transition process as well as the culture that we will be inheriting.

    • Transition Process: We are looking for short and long term partners. We seek out owners and founders who want to stick around and keep some skin in the game. We want to go at it together while taking a lot of the burden off your shoulders. We work hard to make you feel comfortable passing the torch to a group dedicated to the future.

    • Culture: Good businesses are run by good people. We are motivated by a great work environment. Life is too short to work with people who don’t give you life. We simply won’t.

  • We are far more than hands off investors, we are operators. We have an operational team that will work closely with the CEO in the day to day OR we will bring in a vetted candidate from the network that we are constantly building. We love the day to day, and intend to be very much in it.

Our Story:

4 Pillars Group began with 2 brothers, Jeff and Jason Driskel who had a vision of controlling their own future and working together to make that future a success. Both of them come from a football background, playing QB at various levels, where they are now translating their leadership, teamwork, and grit from the field to the business arena. Just like the businesses that they partner with, they have a very complementary skill set. Jeff and Jason each brought their own unique abilities and value add propositions to the table.

Passionate about their respective families, work life balance, and working with people who strive for excellence, they started The 4 Pillars Group with the intent to buy established businesses and steward the companies that they acquire to create as much value as possible for all their stakeholders.

They believe that small business is at the core of what makes America great and are committed to playing a small role in ensuring that the next generation of small business maintains and surpasses what the previous generation has left behind.

Jeff Driskel

Jeff Driskel is probably best known for the eight years that he has spent playing quarterback in the NFL, but Jeff’s talents and ambitions have always extended well beyond the field. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Sports Management, he went on to earn his MBA.

While playing, Jeff has established himself as more than just an athlete. He has earned a number of honors during his NFL career for doing so. In 2021, the Houston Texans awarded him their “Impact Team Newcomer of the Year Award” - given to the first-year player who has shown the biggest commitment to the surrounding community by giving of his time and efforts. Jeff has also previously won the “Ed Block Courage Award” for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jeff lives in Orlando, FL during his off seasons where he is a board member of the Orlando Health foundation. He and his wife Tarin have 3 children, Jensen, Jrue, and Jace. Each summer they run a free football and cheer camp that welcomes over 150 K-8th graders yearly.
